With all that bench time you will be sharp as a razor this coming season. When the big game sees you walking into the woods with those smokeguns, here's how "they" will respond... affraid affraid affraid

Saxman,

I've had good results deer hunting using my CVA .45's with the following:

195 g. PB H.P. with 80 & 90 grains of powder,
225 g. PB H.P. with 90 & 100 grains of powder.

I will be experimenting this season with the 275 g. PB H.P. with 80 & 90 grains of powder.

For the regular gun season,I will be using my new Genesis, with 80 grains of Triple 7 loose or 80 grains of triple 7 pellets. (still need to try 80 grains of pellets, I have shot it with 2 50 grain pellets, but I am afraid that will be pushing the 295 grain aerotip to hard) Then for the ML season, I will be using my Wolf again, with a 295 grain aerotip, with 80 grains of triple 7 loose powder.
